Im Zuge von Deichverstärkungsmaßnahmen in Dagebüll soll die Deichpromenade im nördlichen sowie im südlichen Abschnitt touristisch aufgewertet werden. Übergeordnetes Ziel der geplanten Maßnahme ist es, die Zahl der Übernachtungen in Dagebüll und Umgebung zu steigern und mehr Gäste in die Region zu locken. Dagebülls Deich mit der Wasserkante soll zu einem maritimen Erlebnisraum entwickelt werden. Die jetzige Gestaltung des Deiches ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß und nur teilweise barrierefrei.Mit der geplanten touristischen Neuordnung des Deichbereiches sollen Folgeinvestitionen und qualitative Angebotsverbesserung in der Gemeinde ausgelöst werden. The overall objective of the planned measure is to increase the number of overnight stays in Dagebüll and the surrounding area and to attract more guests to the region. Dagebüll’s dike with the water edge is to be developed into a maritime adventure space. The current design of the dike is no longer up-to-date and only partially barrier-free.The planned tourist reorganisation of the dike area is intended to trigger subsequent investments and qualitative improvement in supply in the municipality.
