The Dynamic Passenger Information System II (SDIP II) aims to extend the existing passenger information system implemented as part of the pilot project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.The project was carried out in the area of the 6 municipalities of KZK GOP.The SDIP II project intends to implement it throughout the Union, as well as in the area of the neighbouring municipalities concerned, which will contribute to deepening the process of integrating the public transport system in the Central Region of Silesia Province.The system will improve the governance of public transport in the subregion through the use of modern intelligent transport systems technologies.It will help to increase the competitiveness of collective transport in the region of the region of the Central Region of Silesia.More efficient use of existing urban transport infrastructure, improved service quality and better information for travellers are expected to result in a loss of detriment to public transport.The project activity in question consists of:• delivery and installation (with connections) of equipment at stop — 462 tables (406 in the KZK GOP, 50 in the city of Tychy and 6 in the municipality of Bieruń),• delivery and installation of the equipment of the 170 MZK Tychy vehicles,• integration into existing systems SDIP and ŚKUP in KZK GOP and other ITS systems in the area of the Subregion (at the level of transmission of the information),• delivery of applications for mobile devices and mobile service equipment,• training in the provision of hardware and software supplied by the contractor free of charge.     System Dynamicznej Informacji Pasażerskiej II (SDIP II) ma na celu rozbudowę istniejącego systemu informacji pasażerskiej wdrożonego w ramach pilotażu współfinansowanego ze środków Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego. Przedsięwzięcie to było realizowane na obszarze 6 gmin KZK GOP. Projekt SDIP II ma spowodować jego wdrożenie na obszarze całego Związku, jak również na obszarze zainteresowanych gmin ościennych, co przyczyni się do pogłębienia procesu integracji systemu transportu publicznego w Subregionie Centralnym Województwa Śląskiego. System wpłynie na usprawnienie procesu zarządzania transportem publicznym w Subregionie, poprzez wykorzystanie nowoczesnych technologii z zakresu inteligentnych systemów transportowych. Przyczyni się on do zwiększenia konkurencyjności transportu zbiorowego na obszarze Subregionu Centralnego Województwa Śląskiego. Oczekuje się, że efektywniejsze wykorzystanie istniejącej infrastruktury transportu miejskiego, podniesienie jakości świadczonych usług i lepsza informacja dla podróżnych spowodują zahamowanie niekorzystnej tendencji odpływu pasażerów z komunikacji publicznej. Realizacja rzeczowa projektu obejmuje: • dostawę i montaż (wraz z przyłączami) wyposażenia na przystankach - 462 tablic (406 na obszarze KZK GOP, 50 w mieście Tychy i 6 w gminie Bieruń), • dostawę i montaż wyposażenia 170 pojazdów MZK Tychy, • integrację z istniejącymi systemami SDIP i ŚKUP w KZK GOP oraz innymi systemami ITS na obszarze Subregionu Centralnego (na poziomie przekazywania informacji), • dostarczenie aplikacji dla urządzeń mobilnych oraz mobilnych urządzeń serwisowych, • szkolenie w zakresie obsługi dostarczonego sprzętu i oprogramowania zorganizowanego bezpłatnie przez Wykonawcę.
