The project involves carrying out the R & D work in the area of recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. At present, an increasing amount of waste, which is a rich source of different raw materials, including non-ferrous metals and rare earths, is a major problem.Efficient recycling will reduce the amount of stored and disposed waste and slow down the process of over-exploitation of natural and non-renewable waste. implementation of R & D will be broken down into 3 stages, with 2 for industrial research and 1 for development. To implement the project, the applicant will involve 21 persons, including 18 in research and 3 in project management. The implementation of the proposed works is based on an existing technology for the recycling of the printed circuit board of the ECOBACK.By contrast, the project will lead to a process of process innovation based on the already existing line to increase the quantities of raw materials recovered.Recovery is currently carried out by cold method without high-temperature processes.Printed circuits shall be ground and sectioned to fractions with different characteristics. The innovative process will include recovery from the ferromagnetic fraction, the pollen and the conductive fraction. The current technological solutions did not allow the raw materials of these fractions to be recovered in full. The use of appropriate separation processes from/in the fraction will increase the recovery of materials such as copper and precious metals, solders, aluminium, the epoxy o-glass fraction (plastic), the magnetic fraction (steel from ferrite) to 90 %.Reference_reference_programme_aids:SA.41471 (2015/X) _public:Article 25 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Article 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ(OJ LEU L 187/1, 26.06.2014).

Zastosowanie odpowiednich procesów oddzielania poszczególnych materiałów z w/w frakcji pozwoli zwiększyć odzysk surowców takich jak miedź i metale szlachetne, stopy lutownicze, aluminium, frakcja epoksydowo-szklana (plastik), frakcja magnetyczna (stal z ferrytem) do poziomu 90%.
