    Celem projektu jest udoskonalone wytwarzanie ogniw paliwowych mające na celu wydłużenie czasu eksploatacji oraz poprawę parametrów pracy. W szczególności poprawiona ma zostać moc jednostkowa ogniwa (moc przypadającej na jednostkę powierzchni/objętości/masy ogniwa). Znaczące obniżenie kosztów inwestycyjnych zostanie osiągnięte poprzez zastosowanie technologii poligraficznych (drukarskich) do produkcji poszczególnych warstw ogniw jak również do nanoszenia alternatywnych układów katalitycznych. Wzrost żywotności oraz sprawności ogniw pozwoli na obniżenie kosztów produkcji, oraz obniżenie kosztów inwestycyjnych i eksploatacyjnych poprzez zastosowanie alternatywnych układów katalitycznych, również nanoszonych metodami poligraficznymi, w sposób wysoce wydajny i kontrolowany.
