A operação visa colmatar o conhecimento sobre a distribuição dos habitats naturais e seminaturais nas áreas designadas ao abrigo da Diretiva Habitats em Portugal continental, e determinar o grau de conservação de alguns destes valores naturais, bem como de uma seleção restrita de espécies da flora. A operação prevê ainda a elaboração de vinte planos de gestão, que cobrem dezanove SIC e a área marinha do conjunto de cinco SIC. (Portuguese)

The operation aims at bridging knowledge about the distribution of natural and semi-natural habitats in areas designated under the Habitats Directive in mainland Portugal, and to determine the degree of conservation of some of these natural values, as well as a restricted selection of flora species. The operation also provides for the preparation of twenty management plans covering nineteen SICs and the marine area of five SICs. (English)
