Com estas ações pretende-se transformar o Mercado Municipal num espaço público central à Vila, adaptando-o às novas funções que ali têm lugar e desenhando-o como parte integrante da vila, desmaterializando o seu perímetro e integrando-o na paisagem onde se insere.Com o aproveitamento da estrutura existente, pretende-se criar um espaço de eventos abrigado das condições climatéricas, que permita a sua utilização durante todo o ano.
