Esta actuación fue identificada como la primera prioridad a ejecutar en materia de movilidad alternativa en el documento de “Estrategia_x000D_ en Materia de Movilidad Alternativa en la Comarca da Coruña y ayuntamientos limítrofes”. Esto es así porque con la senda que se_x000D_ proyecta se resuelve un problema histórico de permeabilidad transversal para peatones y ciclistas entre los dos márgenes de la AC-552,_x000D_ así como de conexión con la ciudad de A Coruña a lo largo de la propia AC-552. Es importante destacar que el punto donde se habilita la_x000D_ comunicación transversal tiene a un lado de la carretera una de las áreas comerciales más importantes de Galicia, y uno de los parques_x000D_ empresariales de mayor actividad._x000D_ En consecuencia, se proyecta una senda de hormigón coloreado a lo largo de la margen derecha de la carretera autonómica AC-552,_x000D_ entre los puntos kilométricos 0+000 y 0+600 (598 m), de uso separado para tránsito peatonal y ciclista. Desde esta senda se podrá_x000D_ acceder al otro lado de la carretera, dando continuidad al itinerario proyectado, a través de una pasarela peatonal de 197 metros de_x000D_ longitud, que permitirá cruzar la plataforma de 6 carriles (3 por sentido de circulación) que presenta en este punto la AC-552. Esta senda_x000D_ tendrá continuidad a lo largo de 139 m hasta la parada de autobús urbano situada en la misma margen derecha, en este caso con sección_x000D_ compartida para peatones y ciclistas (Spanish)
