Thus, four lines are established that pursue this objective and require a powerful investment in R & D._x000D_ _x000D_ On the one hand, it will be investigated how to make its own production field of Guayule for research purposes. A methodology of analytical studies will be developed and extraction tests carried out to obtain a protocol of the various exploitable components of the guayule, in order to achieve an efficient and cost-effective process, with the highest possible performance. ACEITES DEL SUR- COOSUR S.A, en adelante ACESUR, es una gran empresa andaluza dedicada principalmente a la producción, envasado y distribución de aceite y otros productos relacionados como la aceituna, que comercializa sus productos en el mercado global._x000D_ _x000D_ Las líneas de I+D actuales de la empresa están dirigidas al lanzamiento de aceites y salsas más saludables, así como al desarrollo de productos innovadores desde el punto de vista sensorial y la optimización de los procesos productivos._x000D_ _x000D_ Actualmente, en la Unión Europea hay una preocupación acerca del monopolio mundial en el recurso del caucho natural, a lo que se le suma las amenazas a las que se enfrenta el árbol del caucho. Es por esto que buscar una alternativa para producir el caucho, es de necesidad mundial. Esta alternativa, es una especie productora de gomas, látex y resinas, el Guayule._x000D_ _x000D_ Adicionalmente, cualquier producto generado en Europa para cualquiera de las múltiples aplicaciones en las que el caucho o látex es insustituible, supondría una mejora medioambiental al no tener que transportar el material desde el sudeste asiático._x000D_ _x000D_ En este contexto, el reto tecnológico que se les presenta a ACESUR es desarrollar un proceso de extracción de guayule, objeto de ser patentable, que abarque desde el estudio de adaptación de la planta hasta el aprovechamiento industrial del guayule. Así pues, se establecen 4 líneas que persiguen dicho objetivo y que requieren de una potente inversión en I+D._x000D_ _x000D_ Por un lado, se investigará como hacer su propio campo de producción de Guayule para fines de investigación. Se desarrollará una metodología de estudios analíticos y se realizaran ensayos de extracción para obtener un protocolo de los distintos componentes explotables del guayule, para conseguir un proceso eficiente y rentable, con el mayor rendimiento posible.
