    El objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar un sistema completo de telecomunicaciones que contempla la carga útil a embarcar en los satélites de Aistech y 2 tipos de terminales terrestres que se puedan instalar en diversos activos situados en zonas remotas, por un lado terminales sencillos que se pueden contar por miles para geoposicionar un activo que se encuentre en movimiento y por otro lado un terminal mas complejo que permita monitorizar una serie de parámetros de funcionamiento del activo y transmitirlos a los centros de operaciones de los usuarios finales._x000D_ _x000D_ El proyecto tiene un alto componente de Investigación ya que implica estudiar a fondo áreas tan diversas como protocolos de comunicación, programación de software específico para operar en satélite, en los terminales y en el centro de control, así como el diseño electrónico, mecánico y térmico para los terminales._x000D_ _x000D_ El sistema de comunicaciones AMICS cumplirá con las necesidades actuales y futuras que contemplan que un petrolero pueda emitir de manera permanente información sobre el estado de sus elementos críticos y ésta puede ser recibida y procesada al momento en la central de operaciones, y a su vez, desde allí se pueden emitir órdenes que modifiquen ciertos parámetros de funcionamiento o se puedan prevenir averías a distancia. Esto aplica tanto a una gran embarcación que pueda navegar en medio del océano como a una plataforma petrolífera que opere en el mar de norte como a una planta de extracción de minerales ubicada en el desierto de Gobi._x000D_ _x000D_ Para el desarrollo de este proyecto Aistech contratará a 5 Ingenieros de diversas especialidades con un altísimo grado de especialización._x000D_ _x000D_ El hecho de contar con una constelación propia de satélites nos permitirá validar la tecnología desarrollada en órbita en un plazo muy corto comparado con los estándares del sector espacial.
