En marco del proyecto OCEAN DATA se pretende desarrollar nuevas tecnologías de adquisición, procesamiento e interpretación avanzada de datos oceanográficos para la pesca, con el fin de que en el futuro puedan ser integrados como módulos funcionales en el sistema MarineView,_x000D_ _x000D_ El proyecto tiene las siguientes líneas de trabajo sobre tecnologías de información oceanográfica:_x000D_ A) Desarrollo de algoritmos de predicción del movimiento de los FAD’s y algoritmos para generar vectores de corrientes reales._x000D_ B) Desarrollo de algoritmos de transmisión y protocolos de comunicaciones para maximizar la eficiencia en el envío de datos._x000D_ C) Desarrollo de una arquitectura para maximizar el nivel de servicio._x000D_ _x000D_ Presenta las siguientes innovaciones tecnológicas:_x000D_ • Nuevos algoritmos y modelos de simulación de la posición futura de objetos FAD, partiendo de datos reales de la trayectoria de los FAD’s_x000D_ • Nuevos algoritmos y modelos de simulación de corrientes, partiendo partiendo de datos reales de los FAD’s_x000D_ • Nuevos algoritmos de compresión y descompresión de datos oceanográficos en base a algoritmos Huffman_x000D_ • Nuevos protocolos de comunicación flexibles alternativos en base a RUDIC’s o TCP/IP_x000D_ • Nuevo funcionalidad de datos oceanográficos bajo demanda parametrizable por barco para minimizar el consumo de datos_x000D_ • Nuevos esquema de arquitectura de servidores garantiza un nivel de servicio de funcionamiento óptimo, con la capacidad de generación de alarmas en el caso de que el nivel de servicio baje de un umbral determinado._x000D_ _x000D_ Objetivos ambientales:_x000D_ La consecución de los objetivos tecnológicos puede contribuir a mejorar la sostenibilidad de la pesca pelágica al ayudar a los capitanes de los barcos con información oceanográfica sobre la probabilidad de pesca y así permitir un ahorro de combustible considerable._x000D_ _x000D_ El proyectos se desarrollo en tres paquetes de trabajo, a lo largo de 24 meses.
