Today ophthalmologists face a problem that the Anglo-Saxon world calls “Computer Vision Syndrome”, this problem harms those who work daily with computers. The light emission of current LED displays enhances the short wavelength range (blue light), i.e. artificial light containing large amounts of eye toxic light. The great energy of blue-violet light can damage the retina and accelerate the appearance of DMAE, one of the main causes of blindness in the world. Therefore, efficient protection against toxic light is necessary. A filter is needed to mitigate this type of radiation and protect the eye system from the harmful effects of this type of light. Currently there are two different types of lenses that fight the toxic blue light emitted by digital devices with LED light, but you want to go further and develop a new product on the market. This new product consists of a eye drops formulated with a combination of chromophores with the selective ability to absorb light with wavelengths corresponding to LED or blue light. This way 100 % of the blue light is blocked. (English)
