Durante la realización del presente proyecto el consorcio formado por Industrias Afrasa S.A., y Biovert S.A., afronta un importante reto tecnológico: desarrollar una nueva formulación de fitosanitario con actividad específica como binsecticida a base de una sal potásica de ácidos grasos de origen vegetal._x000D_ El formulado final estará compuesto de dos partes, la parte más destacable consiste en un principio activo a base de sal potásica responsable de las características insecticidas del formulado mientras que los elementos adyacentes al principio activo se diferencian en materias inertes, aditivos y coadyuvantes. El formulado final contará con unas características tan remarcables como una elevada pureza, una rápida degradación en el medio rural (con lo que el impacto ambiental derivado de la aplicación del insecticida se verá reducido), una baja repercusión para el agricultor que se encargue de la aplicación del mismo, compatibilidad con la agricultura ecológica y la agricultura convencional, y lo más importante, el producto tendrá usos específicos sobre cultivos perennes y hortícolas para los que ningún insecticida a base de sal potásica había servido antes._x000D_ Se pretender marcar con este proyecto una diferencia respecto a los productos existentes en el mercado desarrollando una fórmula única, además de la buena práctica agrícola asociada: lo que se diseña en el proyecto actual no es sólo una fórmula novedosa, sino también las aplicaciones modernas derivadas de ella.Para ello se llevará a cabo un exhaustivo estudio tanto en laboratorio como en campo para la evaluación de los métodos de aplicación y las plagas sobre las que será efectiva la nueva fórmula, así como de la eficacia global del nuevo producto. Asimismo, se llevará a cabo un intenso estudio para la valoración del riesgo y el impacto del nuevo insecticida: suelos, aire y agua._x000D_ Finalmente, por todo lo expuesto con anterioridad, el presente proyecto se cataloga como proyecto de I+D. During the realisation of this project, the consortium formed by Industrias Afrasa S.A., and Biovert S.A., faces an important technological challenge: develop a new formulation of phytosanitary with specific activity as binsecticide based on a potassium salt of fatty acids of plant origin._x000D_ The final formulation shall consist of two parts, the most remarkable part being an active substance based on potassium salt responsible for the insecticidal characteristics of the formulation while the elements adjacent to the active substance differ in inert substances, additives and adjuvants. The final formulation will have such remarkable characteristics as high purity, rapid degradation in the rural environment (so the environmental impact resulting from the application of the insecticide will be reduced), a low impact on the farmer in charge of the application of the same, compatibility with organic farming and conventional agriculture, and most importantly, the product will have specific uses on perennial and horticultural crops for which no insecticide based on potassium salt had served before._x000D_ It is intended to make a difference with the products existing on the market by developing a unique formula, in addition to the good agricultural practice associated: what is designed in the current project is not only a novel formula, but also the modern applications derived from it. To this end, a thorough study will be carried out in both laboratory and field to evaluate the application methods and pests on which the new formula will be effective, as well as the overall effectiveness of the new product. An intensive study will also be carried out to assess the risk and impact of the new insecticide: soils, air and water._x000D_ Finally, for all the above, this project is classified as R & D project.
