El sistema de transporte, es primordial en nuestras vidas diarias y juega un papel fundamental en el desarrollo social y económico de una región y de un país, tanto para el transporte de personas como para el de mercancías. _x000D_ La mayor severidad o frecuencia de determinados eventos meteorológicos, esperadas como consecuencia del cambio climático, impondrá a los diferentes elementos de las redes de transporte una serie de nuevos requerimientos para que éstas sigan siendo eficientes en la prestación de sus servicios. _x000D_ INFRA_ADAPT pretende dar respuesta a la problemática y necesidades detectadas en el sector de la infraestructura viaria en el marco de la adaptación al cambio climático mediante un concepto de Resiliencia que se traduce en el desarrollo de “Tecnologías BIM para la Gestión Predictiva del Riesgo en infraestructuras viarias vulnerables a los efectos más críticos del cambio climático”.
