    El objetivo del proyecto es la concepción, desarrollo, prototipado de un convertidor de potencia de 50 kW para su integración en generadores de calentamiento por inducción para la aplicación del curado de resinas en el sector de la automoción y más concretamente en la aplicación del procesado de dichas resinas en puertas y capós para evitar la corrosión y en consecuencia poder dar garantías superiores a 10 años referentes a robustez medioambiental. En la actualidad en la fabricación de los generadores de curado de resinas se utiliza la tecnología IGBT de Silicio la cual conlleva severas limitaciones en términos de rendimiento, tamaño, peso, y reducido rango de frecuencias, y que el presente proyecto pretende solucionar utilizando las últimas tecnologías disponibles en el mercado dentro de la Electrónica de Potencia y derivadas de nuevos componentes semiconductores, nuevos componentes pasivos y nuevas técnicas de fabricación mediante circuito impreso embebido, tecnología FPGA avanzad (Spanish)

    The objective is the design, development, prototype of a power converter of 50 kW for integration into generators induction heating for the application of curing resin in the automotive industry and more specifically in the application of processing resins such doors and hoods to prevent corrosion and thus able to give beyond 10 years guarantees concerning environmental robustness. Currently in the manufacture of generators curing resins IGBT Silicon technology which entails severe limitations in terms of performance, size, weight, and low frequency range is used, and this project aims to solve using the latest commercially available in the Power Electronics and deriving new semiconductor components, new passive and new manufacturing techniques components by impregnating circuit, FPGA technology advanced, advanced technologies and components derived from the latest technology for the application of electro technologies -mobility.
