Preko SRIP Pametna mesta in skupnosti se bosta sofinancirala 2 projekta (NRP 2130-18-1211 - PMiS VM in 2130-18-1212 PMiS IKT), ki skupaj predstavljata celoten projekt SRIP Pametna mesta in skupnosti. Akcijski načrti, ki so bili potrjeni s strani delovne skupine državnih sekretarjev, so bili podlaga za prijavo na 2. fazo in s tem sofinanciranjem aktivnosti v okviru le-te. Vizija partnerstva vertikalnih področij v SRIP PMiS je vzpostaviti svetovno prepoznan ekosistem partnerjev, ki permanentno sinergično nadgrajujejo in povezujejo svoje kompetence in nudi zadovoljive kapacitete za raziskave in razvoj, produkcijo in trženje globalno konkurenčnih inovativnih visokotehnoloških rešitev na vseh področjih Pametnih mest in skupnosti.
