<p>Το αντικείμενο της πράξης αφορά την κατασκευή της οδικής παράκαμψης νοτίως του οικισμού Χαλκειούς κατά μήκος του οδικού άξονα Επαρχιακής οδού Χίος - Χαλκειός - Βέσσα - Αγία Ειρήνη και σύνδεση με την ήδη κατασκευασμένη οδό παράκαμψης του οικισμού Ζυφιά. Στόχος είναι να αυξηθεί η κυκλοφορική ικανότητα και να βελτιωθεί η οδική ασφάλεια, δεδομένου ότι η υφιστάμενη οδός έχει ανεπαρκή γεωμετρικά και λειτουργικά χαρακτηριστικά, για την ασφαλέστερη και ταχύτερη σύνδεση των οικισμών της Νότιας και Νοτιοδυτικής Χίου με τις πύλες εισόδου και εξόδου του νησιού. <br/></p> (Greek)
