The project Revitalisation of the Intra-block – the Central settlement in Tornali, whose basic objective is to improve environmental aspects in cities and urban areas by building elements of green infrastructure and adapting the urbanised environment to climate change as well as by introducing system elements to reduce air and noise pollution, addresses the revitalisation of the inner block of the Stred housing estate with an emphasis on environmental improvement, with an emphasis on greenery, sports grounds, playgrounds, engineering networks, necessary communications and other areas. The housing estate “Central” consists of the structure of residential buildings and a network of paved areas, growing greenery, elements of small architecture, etc. Urban is a building situated in the area of the wider city core. For the solution of the inner block, the area is designated by the streets Mierová, to the west by a multifunctional object in the north, gardens – fencing houses in the east, Škultéty’s street in the south. In this part there is a path to the street Poštová. The entire composition of the solution was the primary objective of preserving the impression of “city in greenery” where functionality and intensity of use, including movement and residence of people will be in harmony with nature. The same priority is to improve the environmental aspects of the intra-block by building elements of green infrastructure and adapting urbanised climate change environments, the regeneration of housing estates using ecological principles for green design and protection. In order to achieve these goals, an increased alley was accentuated as a natural microcorridor, with the involvement of complex units of permanent greenery, supported by the modelling of the terrain. Multifunctionality of the entire intrablock is the basis for the creation of a sustainable residential environment, where attracting all-day activity for all ages of the population is both a means and a goal. Projekt Revitalizácia vnútrobloku – sídlisko Stred v Tornali, ktorého základným cieľom je zlepšenie environmentálnych aspektov v mestách a mestských oblastiach prostredníctvom budovania prvkov zelenej infraštruktúry a adaptáciou urbanizovaného prostredia na zmenu klímy ako aj zavádzaním systémových prvkov znižovania znečistenia ovzdušia a hluku, rieši revitalizáciu vnútrobloku sídliska Stred s akcentom na skvalitnenie životného prostredia, s dôrazom na zeleň, športoviská, detské ihriská, inžinierske siete, potrebné komunikácie a iné plochy. Sídlisko „Stred“ je tvorené štruktúrou bytových domov a sieťou spevnených plôch, vzrastlou zeleňou, prvkami drobnej architektúry a pod. Urbanisticky je stavba situovaná v zóne širšieho mestského jadra. Pre riešenie vnútrobloku je územie vyčlenené ulicami Mierovou, na západe polyfunkčným objektom na severe, záhradami - oplotením domov na východe, Škultétyho ulicou na juhu. V tejto časti je riešený chodník na až po ulicu Poštová. Celá kompozícia riešenia mala ako prvoradý cieľ zachovať dojem „mesta v zeleni“, kde funkčnosť a intenzita využívania, vrátane pohybu a pobytu ľudí bude v súlade s prírodou. Rovnakou prioritou je zlepšenie environmentálnych aspektov vo vnútrobloku prostredníctvom budovania prvkov zelenej infraštruktúry a adaptáciou urbanizovaného prostredia na zmenu klímy, regenerácia vnútroblokov sídlisk s uplatnením ekologických princípov tvorby a ochrany zelene. Pre dosiahnutie týchto cieľov bola akcentovaná vzrastlá alej ako prirodzený mikrokoridor so zapojením do ucelených celkov trvalej zelene, podporenej modeláciou terénu. Multifunkčnosť celého vnútrobloku je základom vytvorenia trvalo udržateľného obytného prostredia, kde pritiahnutie celodennej aktivity pre všetky vekové kategórie obyvateľov je prostriedkom a zároveň cieľom.
