The main objective of the project is to increase employment of persons with parental responsibilities by improving the conditions for reconciling work and family life, especially women (not only) in the region of Nitra and its surroundings through the provision of flexible care aimed at integrating children with special educational needs available also for parents and children from a weaker social environment. The applicant for grant support, Centrum Skalka, o.z. has been in existence since 2012 and has been active in activities aimed at children and families, organising various courses and clubs in which parents with children can participate during the school year. It organises daily summer camps during the summer holidays. The Association has gradually launched flexible childcare services in the spirit of Montessori pedagogy called Children’s montessori Centre with a capacity of 6 children so far, which it wants to extend by 7-12 children to a maximum capacity of 18 children aged 3-6 years or with delayed school attendance. Since it is an existing establishment and 12 months prior to the submission of the grant application it provided childcare services to paid staff, it will comply with the condition of 25 % of the extended capacity to provide children with special educational needs (SEE). A flexible form of childcare will be provided in operating times from 6:30 to 16:30 in the premises of the Children’s Montessori Centre suitable for childcare, namely in Nitra, Kalvária 3. The project will include 2 part-time educators, 1 full-time tutor and 1 full-time teacher for children with special educational needs. The implementation period of the project is 24 months with the planned start of implementation January 2019. This activity is planned to be maintained by the civic association for at least 6 months after the end of the contribution and to develop and improve on a long-term basis. The target group targeted by the project is not only parents-women after maternity, parental leave, but also jobseekers with parental responsibilities, job seekers with parental responsibilities, jobseekers with an emphasis on people with difficulties in reconciling family and working life, job seekers with an emphasis on people with difficulties in reconciling family and working life, employees and self-employed with parental responsibilities.
