The aim of the project “Home Care Service in Žilina Region” is the deinstitutionalisation of social care and the transition from institutional to community-based care. The emphasis is on making available quality social care within the meaning of Act No 448/2008 on social services, by creating better access to care services also for lower-income families. Through the main activity of providing care services, the project aims to develop social services and measures to prevent clients from being placed in social services. The target group is natural persons dependent on the assistance of another natural person to whom social services are provided and employees implementing social inclusion policies and measures in both the public and non-public sectors. The place of implementation of the project is Žilina Region. In Žilina region we plan to create 15 jobs for the main employment (whole part). The monitored measurable indicators are the numbers of supported capacities of new innovative services or measures at community level, in a home environment open or substitute (P0334) (measurable indicator 15.00), and the number of projects targeting public administrations or social services at national, regional and local level (P0361) (measurable indicator 1,00). We see the importance of the project in improving the availability of care for dependants in the home environment, creating job opportunities as well as keeping existing jobs as carers. Cieľom projektu "Domáca opatrovateľská služba v Žilinskom kraji" je deinštitucionalizácia sociálnej starostlivosti a prechod z inštitucionálnej na komunitnú starostlivosť. Dôraz je kladený na sprístupnenie kvalitnej sociálnej starostlivosti v zmysle zákona č. 448/2008 o sociálnych službách, vytvorením lepšej dostupnosti opatrovateľskej služby aj pre rodiny s nižšími príjmami. Prostredníctvom hlavnej aktivity "poskytovania opatrovateľskej služby" projekt sleduje zámer rozvoja sociálnych služieb a opatrení za účelom predchádzania umiestňovania klientov do zariadení sociálnych služieb. Cieľovou skupinou sú fyzické osoby odkázané na pomoc inej fyzickej osoby, ktorým sa poskytujú sociálne služby a zároveň zamestnanci vykonávajúci politiky a opatrenia v oblasti sociálneho začlenenia vo verejnom aj neverejnom sektore. Miesto realizácie projektu je Žilinský kraj. V Žilinskom kraji plánujeme vytvoriť 15 pracovných miest, na hlavný pracovný pomer (celý úvazok). Sledovanými merateľnými ukazovateľmi sú počty podporovaných kapacít nových inovatívnych služieb alebo opatrení na komunitnej úrovni, v domácom prostredí otvorenom prostredí alebo náhradnom prostredí (P0334) (merateľný ukazoveteľ 15,00), a počet projektov zameraných na verejné správy alebo sociálne služby na vnútroštátnej, regionálnej a miestnej úrovni (P0361) (merateľný ukazoveteľ 1,00). Význam projektu vidíme v lepšej dostupnosti starostlivosti o osoby odkázané na pomoc v domácom prostredí, vytváraní pracovných príležitostí ako aj udržaní existujúcich pracovných miest na pozícii opatrovateľ/opatrovateľka.
