The provision of field care services is an effective support tool to ensure that citizens remain in the natural home environment in accordance with the principles applied in international human-law documents, but also with the principles of the EU on the development of citizen-centred social services and the strategic documents of the Ministry of Transport. Due to the consequences of an ageing population associated with an increasing survival age, coupled with an increase in the number of older people dependent on social care, it is necessary to create conditions for the availability and sustainability of this care. The project will be implemented for 26 months in the territory of the Prešov Self-Governing Region of the Slovak Republic through the main activity – providing care services. The implementation of the project will enable:• to provide care services to a greater number of people dependent on the assistance of another person in a natural home environment, • to increase the availability of care services for citizens with severe disabilities, unfavorable health and for the elderly, and to encourage them to remain in the natural environment in the family and the community, • to create a suitable environment for the preservation, restoration or development of the ability of natural persons and their families to lead an independent life,• to support the provision of care services in those locations which do not provide it due to lack of resources, • to create/maintain jobs and thereby promote employment in the PSK SR,• to prevent reliance on residential social care services,• to promote the coexistence of work and family life for family members of the target group living in a common household. The target groups of the project are:- children (minors) and natural adults to whom social services are provided – employees implementing policies and measures in the field of social inclusion in both the public and the non-public sector.Measurable indicators for the project je:P0334 Number of supported capacities of new, innovative services or measures at community level, in a home environment, in an open environment or in a substitute environment – 33P0361 Number of projects focusing on public administrations or social services at national, regional and local level – 1 (English)
