Anyone who wants to succeed in the current constantly changing and rapidly evolving labour market must develop their knowledge, skills and competences in order to meet the requirements and face growing competition. This option is provided by adult lifelong learning programmes consistent with labour market requirements. A specific target group on the labour market is people with disabilities with specific work and educational needs. The possibility of employment for this group of persons is not very large. Their participation in the labour market often depends on the availability and availability of vocational training. Creating the conditions for active inclusion of disabled people is possible by diversifying forms of education into new forms of lifelong learning, e.g. e-learning or hybrid learning, which make learning more accessible.Professionals and their skills as a result of digitalisation disappear and are replaced by new ones. Computer literacy is therefore essential for access to the labour market. New technologies should make it easier for disabled people to gain access to the labour market, where their handicap may not be an obstacle. The project “Qualify yourself – ECDL a new chance for disabled people” will create and implement a modern digital literacy education programme for people with disabilities, respecting their specificities and learning needs, in order to increase their ICT competences through quality and efficient long-term learning and to create the conditions for inclusion of socially excluded people into the labour market and society. Osobitnou cieľovou skupinou na trhu práce sú osoby so zdravotným postihnutím so špecifickými pracovnými a vzdelávacími potrebami.
