The present project focuses on the protection and improvement of the quality of the environment, the protection of human health and ensuring the use of natural resources by investing in waste management. The main objective of the proposed project is to increase the capacity of separate collection of municipal waste generated in the village Boleráz in an increase of 133 tons annually selected waste components in order to protect the quality of the environment, the quality of life of the inhabitants of the village, to increase the efficiency of the municipality’s management and to meet legislative requirements under Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on waste and amending certain acts. The subject of the project is the construction of a collection yard, the purchase of movables to support separate collection and the purchase of mechanical treatment equipment (volume reduction) of selected sorted components of municipal waste in the municipality of Boleráz. Given the current state of waste infrastructure, our target will be in line with the specific objective of the Environment Operational Programme 1.1.1. Increasing the recovery rate of waste with a focus on preparing it for re-use and recycling and promoting waste prevention. In addition to fulfilling the specific objective in the territory concerned, the project will aim at eliminating illegal landfills, improving the quality of the environment, improving basic services for the population in the municipality concerned and meeting the requirements of the Union’s environmental acquis. The projects addressed meet environmental, technical, economic and social needs, and these activities in the municipality will ensure an increase in the rate of waste recovery with a focus on preparing them for re-use and recycling and promoting waste prevention in accordance with the Waste Act. Predkladaný projekt je zameraný na oblasť ochrany a zlepšovania kvality životného prostredia, ochranu ľudského zdravia a zabezpečenia využívania prírodných zdrojov, a to investíciou do odpadového hospodárstva. Hlavným cieľom predkladaného projektu je navýšenie kapacity triedeného zberu komunálnych odpadov vznikajúcich v obci Boleráz a to v navýšení o 133 ton ročne vybraných zložiek odpadov za účelom ochrany kvality životného prostredia, kvality života obyvateľov obce, zvýšenia efektívnosti hospodárenia obce a napĺňania legislatívnych požiadaviek v zmysle Zákona č. 79/2015 Z.z. Zákon o odpadoch a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov. Predmetom projektu je vybudovanie zberného dvora, nákup hnuteľných vecí na podporu triedeného zberu a nákup zariadení na mechanickú úpravu (zmenšovanie objemu) vybraných vytriedených zložiek komunálneho odpadu v obci Boleráz. Vzhľadom na súčasný stav odpadovej infraštruktúry, bude náš cieľ v súlade so špecifickým cieľom Operačného programu životného prostredia 1.1.1. Zvýšenie miery zhodnocovania odpadov so zameraním na ich prípravu na opätovné využitie a recykláciu a podporu predchádzania vzniku odpadov. Realizáciou projektu bude okrem naplnenia špecifického cieľa v dotknutom území docielená eliminácia vzniku nelegálnych skládok, zvýšenie kvalitatívnej úrovne životného prostredia, zlepšenie základných služieb pre obyvateľstvo v dotknutej obci a vyhovenie požiadavkám environmentálneho acquis Únie. Projektom riešené činnosti vyhovujú environmentálnym, technickým, hospodárskym a sociálnym potrebám, pričom tieto činnosti v obci zabezpečia zvýšenie miery zhodnocovania odpadov so zameraním na ich prípravu na opätovné použitie a recykláciu a podporu predchádzania vzniku odpadov, ktoré budú v súlade so zákonom o odpadoch.
