O projeto PASTRUCLIM pretende estudar o impacto das alterações climáticas na produtividade e composição nutricional das pastagens nos Açores. Para tal irá realizar uma experiência manipulativa, em que serão simulados o aumento da temperatura e a diminuição da precipitação com vista a analisar quais os efeitos destas alterações sobre a qualidade e produtividade das pastagens como meio alimentício para a industria do leite e da carne nos açores. The PASTRUCLIM project aims to study the impact of climate change on the productivity and nutritional composition of pastures in the Azores. To this end, it will carry out a manipulative experiment, simulating the increase in temperature and the decrease in precipitation in order to analyse the effects of these changes on the quality and productivity of pastures as a food medium for the milk and meat industry in the Azores.
