Veľký význam bude mať v prípade starších ľudí či chronicky chorých pacientov, pričom riešenie bude pozostávať z novo navrhnutých a vyvinutých prvkov lekárskej monitorovacej elektroniky i dostupných prvkov, ktoré poskytujú možnosť merať parametre napomáhajúce k analýze klinického stavu pacientov so spojením s novými modulmi prepojenia nemocničných systémov či NCZI s koncovými bodmi. Property / summary: The main objective is to design and verify the model and functional prototype of a flexible and robust telemedicine system for use in hospitals, health centres, social services homes and, last but not least, for ordinary residents, to whom the system is intended to serve with a whole social impact. It will be of great importance for elderly or chronically ill patients, with the solution consisting of newly designed and developed elements of medical monitoring electronics as well as available elements that provide the ability to measure parameters conducive to the analysis of the clinical condition of patients with connection with new modules linking hospital systems or NCZI to endpoints. Due to the very low level of development of telemedicine in Slovakia and its importance for all residents in case of pandemic threats and beyond, and given the perspective of the topic, which will be constantly developed in the near, the project can be given great importance and the result will immediately achieve significant added value in the long term. The innovativeness of the solution lies in the use of state-of-the-art ICT tools, i.e. as new miniature measuring devices as well as cognitive data processing methods using neural networks, capable of extensively evaluating data with great accuracy and at the same time to learn in a long-term automated way new possibilities for providing supportive documents for doctors’ decision-making on the patient’s state of health. Telemedicine also eliminates the need for contact by the patient doctor, which directly prevents the spread of potential transmission to healthcare professionals and also enables more frequent measurements to be made and the capacity of health professionals to be carried out using the telemedicine system. Innovation and high added value of the solution, which will be the result of the project, also consists of early identification of changes in health, i.e. early prevention, which is the cheapest and least demanding solution in medicine. The project will directly help to eliminate mortality from COVID-19.The project applicant is Asseco Central Europe, a.s.. Project partners sú:Partner 1: Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STUBA)Partner 2: University of Comenius University in Bratislava (body of public administration) – UNIBAThe project will be carried out by the following aktivitami:Nezávislý research and developmentMain activity 1.1 Research in the field of gateway solutions of monitoring devices, definition and implementation of algorithms of machine learning and artificial neural networks for automated evaluation of selected changes in patient’s health status (STUBA) Main activity 1.2: Design and implementation of monitoring facilities using infrastructure in BSK (15 % flexibility) (STUBA) Main activity 1.3 Identification and verification of methods of monitoring the health of patients in hospitals, medical faculty and outside the medical environment (UNIBA)Experimental vývoj:Hlavná activity 2.1: Design of the prototype of a comprehensive intelligent cognitive system for monitoring the condition of patients based on telemedicine (ASSECO) Main activity 2.2: The design of the prototype of a comprehensive intelligent cognitive system for monitoring the health of patients based on telemedicine (15 % flexibility) (ASSECO) The project implementation schedule was set in such a way that it was possible to apply the partial results of individual project activities. The project duration 32 months, from 01.11.2020-30.06.2023.Measurable indicators projektu:P0762 Number of publications created by the project: 15PCV33 Number of entities supported in the fight against or mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic: 3P0196 Number of returning Slovak researchers from abroad: 1P0231 Number of new researchers in supported entities/undertakings: 5P0280 Number of patent applications filed: 1P0315 Number of supported participations of foreign researchers in project activities of the Slovak R & D institution: 2P0355 Number of applications for registration of intellectual property rights: 2P0325 Number of research institutions supported: 3P0905 Number of publications of Slovak entities in the Web of Science Core Collection and SCOPUS databases created by the project: 5P0906 Number of publications of entities from Slovakia in other databases such as Web of Science Core Collection and SCOPUS created by the project: 10Place of project implementation: Bratislava, Trnava, Martin, Banská Bystrica, Košice.
