Obiectivul general al proiectului este imbunatatirea competitivitatii economice a Romaniei prin dezvoltarea infrastructurii de transport care faciliteaza integrarea economica in UE, contribuind astfel la dezvoltarea pietii interne cu scopul de a creea conditiile pentru cresterea volumului investitiilor, promovarea transportului durabil si a coeziunii in reteaua de drumuri europene. Sectorul de autostrada Targu Neamt- Iasi- Ungheni (A8) constituie parte integranta a Retelei TEN – T Centrale aprobata in anul 2012 in cadrul Consiliului TTE al Comisiei Europene. Este o sectiune care trebuie executata in vederea obtinerii unei eficiente maxime a coridorului Targu Mures- Targu Neamt- Iasi- Ungheni, fapt constatat si de analiza realizata in cadrul Master Planului General de Transport, din care rezulta ca acest proiect constituie o prioritate de investitie pentru Romania. Podul peste Prut la Ungheni este un sector al autostrazii A8, care va asigura legatura Autostrazii Targu-Mures- Iasi- Ungheni (A8) cu Varianta de Ocolire a orasului Ungheni din Republica Moldova. Peroiectul va asigura crearea unei cai de comunicatie moderna cu implicatii in dezvoltarea regionala a zonei, a fluidizarii traficului, cresterii sigurantei utilizatorilor, micsorarea timpilor de parcurs, scurtarea legaturilor rutiere cu Republica Moldova. Luand in considerare aprobarea retelei TEN – T la nivel european si implicit national, se considera necesara realizarea in prima faza a revizuirii/actualizarea Studiului de Fezabilitate pentru Pod peste Prut la Ungheni. Realizarea prezentului proiect - faza Studiu de Fezabilitate al Podului peste Prut la Ungheni contribuie la indicatorul de rezultat 2S81 – Cerere de finantare transmisa, spre analiza si aprobare la Organismul Independent pentru Evaluare. The general objective of the project is to improve Romania’s economic competitiveness by developing transport infrastructure that facilitates economic integration in the EU, thus contributing to the development of the internal market in order to create the conditions for increasing the volume of investments, promoting sustainable transport and cohesion in the European road network. The Targu Neamt-Iasi-Ungheni motorway sector (A8) is an integral part of the TEN-T Central Network approved in 2012 at the TTE Council of the European Commission. It is a section to be executed in order to achieve a maximum efficiency of the Targu Mures-Targu Neamt-Iasi-Ungheni corridor, which is also found by the analysis carried out within the Master of the General Transport Plan, from which it appears that this project is an investment priority for Romania. The bridge over Prut in Ungheni is a section of the A8 motorway, which will ensure the connection of the Targu-Mures-Iasi-Ungheni Highway (A8) with the bypass of the city of Ungheni in the Republic of Moldova. The Peroiect will ensure the creation of a modern communication path with implications in the regional development of the area, traffic fluidisation, increasing user safety, shortening journey times, shortening road connections with the Republic of Moldova. Taking into account the approval of the TEN-T network at European and thus national level, it is considered necessary to carry out in the first phase of the review/updating the Feasibility Study for Prut Bridge in Ungheni. The realisation of this project – Phase of Feasibility Study of the Bridge over Prut in Ungheni contributes to the result indicator 2S81 – Application for financing submitted, for analysis and approval to the Independent Body for Evaluation.
