    Snižování celkových emisí při spalování odpadů tvoří v současné době významný trend. V případě těkavých org. látek (VOC) se tyto látky eliminují převážně v dopalovacím reaktoru při teplotách 950 - 1100°C. Tento proces je značně energeticky náročný a tvoří více jak 30 % provozních nákladů. Návrhem nových typů reaktorových vyzdívek s příměsí katalyticky aktivních příměsí bude možno prokazatelně snížit celkovou energetickou spotřebu a zároveň snížením reakční teploty snížit produkci emisí NOx. a.
