A operação visa recuperação dos habitats existentes nestas galerias ripícolas, onde se destacam os bosques de amieiro Alnus glutinosa, de freixo Fraxinus spp., e dos Carvalhais galaico-portugueses, nomeadamente com o Quercus robur. A operação visa a conservação de forma natural, das margens dos rios, assim como a desobstrução pontual dos seus leitos, de modo a permitir o normal escoamento da água e a degradação das margens. The operation aims to recover existing habitats in these riparian galleries, where the alder groves Alnus glutinosa, Fraxinus spp. ash, and Galaic-Portuguese Carvalhais, notably with Quercus robur, stand out. The operation aims at the conservation in a natural way of the river banks, as well as the punctual clearance of their beds, so as to allow the normal flow of water and the degradation of the margins.
