Obiectivul general al proiectului constă în eficientizarea energetică şi reabilitarea termică a Spitalului "Dr. George Trifon" din oraşul Năsăud, jud. Bistriţa-Năsăud în vederea conformării cu cerinţele minime de performanţă energetică ale clădirilor şi în vederea creşterii confortului pacienţilor şi al personalului medical. Scopul proiectului a fost stabilit de aşa natură încât să contribuie la îndeplinirea obiectivului specific al priorităţii de investiţii, respectiv "Creșterea eficienței energetice în clădirile rezidențiale, clădirile publice și sistemele de iluminat public, îndeosebi a celor care înregistrează consumuri energetice mari".
