(Estonian)

Support is provided for the codification of the law, from the preparation of the law to the adoption of the draft law by the Riigikogu. Codification is the organisation and further development of existing legislation in a given area. It will carry out an in-depth, substantive and systematic analysis, harmonisation and modernisation of legislation in the field of justice. The codification process must go through the normal legislative process and be prepared in accordance with the requirements in force, taking into account the specifications and codification methodology set out in this Order (see Annex). Each codification project must include simplification, analysis of the implementation of EU law, consideration of alternatives, impact analysis and stakeholder involvement. (English)
