The preliminary study intends to investigate what new opportunities exist for maintaining and increasing collective travel in rural areas. The focus is on innovative ways to travel that reduces carbon dioxide emissions and in the long run also reduces costs for and/or increases the cost coverage of public transport in rural areas.
