Projektet ska genom forskning och utveckling inom kommunikations- och informationeteknik bidra till effektivare installations- och underhållsarbete av fiber. Projektet har utgått från följande horrisontella kriterier som miljö, jämställdhet och lika villkor vid utformandet av projektet.Detta ska leda till att kostnaden för bredbandsutbyggnaden kan reduceras. Projektet ska också sprida kunskap om fördelarna med med jämn könsfördelning. (Swedish)

Through research and development in communication and information technology, the project will contribute to more efficient installation and maintenance of fibre. The project has been based on the following horizontal criteria such as environment, gender equality and equal opportunities when designing the project, which will reduce the cost of broadband expansion.
