A presente operação visa contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade da água da bacia hidrográfica do rio Tâmega por assegurar no sistema de águas residuais de Bustelo um tratamento eficaz dos efluentes gerados, através da implementação de uma ETAR de tipo compacto e devidamente dimensionada às necessidades atuais, aproveitando a fossa sética previamente existente para complementar o tratamento a efetuar.
