This investment concerns the exchange of individual heat sources in households (both single-family and multi-family houses) in which it is not carried out or registered economic activity. These farms are located in the City of Darłowo (municipality located in the Special Zone of Inclusion). The project will eliminate energy inefficient, emitting significant amounts of harmful substances into the atmosphere of coal furnaces and boilers. The new heat source will be in line with the heat source selection hierarchy. Connection to the district heating network is not possible in all locations, nor is it economically and technically justified for the whole project (more: paragraph. G.1 – description of task 1). The investment will therefore reduce the level of energy consumption in the region and improve air quality and thus the health and living standards of the population. The project therefore fully pursues the objective of the measure referred to in the SZOOP, namely the ‘lower level of air pollutants’. The material scope of the project includes: activity 1 – Production of energy performance certificates, Task 2 – Decommissioning coal-fired heat sources in the city of Darłowo while maintaining the hierarchy of heat source selection. The indirect costs of the investment also included the promotion of the project. The project is stationary and constitutes a stand-alone unit of analysis. The Applicant, the City of Darłowo, will be responsible for its implementation. The demarcation with the Clean Air Programme has been preserved – the municipality has also submitted a complementary project under call 2.15, which covers other households. W ramach przedsięwzięcia dojdzie do likwidacji nieefektywnych energetycznie, emitujących znaczne ilości szkodliwych substancji do atmosfery pieców i kotłów węglowych. (Polish)
