A presente operação visa a substituição das coberturas dos edifícios que integram a Escola Básica de Santa Iria, coberturas essas que são em chapa de fibrocimento contendo amianto na sua composição, por uma cobertura de painel sandwich com 50mm de espessura. Face aos riscos que o amianto representa para a saúde pública a intervenção proposta assume-se como prioritária, respondendo a uma preocupação da comunidade escolar. (Portuguese)

The present operation aims to replace the roofs of the buildings that are part of the Basic School of Santa Iria, coverings that are made of asbestos cement sheet in its composition, with a sandwich panel covering 50 mm thick. Given the risks posed by asbestos to public health, the proposed intervention is a priority, responding to a concern of the school community. (English)
