O investimento inclui um ecocentro, 5 ilhas ecológicas, 40 ecopontos/papeleiras e 5 carrinhos para cantoneiros elétricos com recolha seletiva associada, de forma a permitir o aumento da recolha seletiva junto a particulares, comércio e serviços e no espaço público, aquisição também de 700 contentores domésticos para resíduos orgânicos e 60 compostores para aproveitamento deste tipo de resíduos.
