The project involves the construction of a bicycle road with accompanying infrastructure along the provincial road no. 657, located in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Lubicz Municipality (toruń district). The project is eligible for support under Priority Axis 3 Energy efficiency and low-carbon economy in the region, Measure 3.4 Sustainable urban mobility and promotion of low-carbon strategies, Scheme: construction and reconstruction of cycle paths, Diagram 1: Construction and reconstruction of cycle paths above 5 km on provincial roads. The aim of the project is to reduce emissions of pollutants into the air by developing low-emission transport. The need to build bicycle roads stems from the low-carbon economy plans of the municipalities through which the planned cycle road will take place. In view of the ever-increasing number of cars, and consequently of increasing air pollution, the construction of bicycle roads will reduce the use of individual means of transport by car. Projekt obejmuje budowę drogi rowerowej wraz z towarzyszącą infrastrukturą wzdłuż drogi wojewódzkiej nr 657, zlokalizowanej w województwie kujawsko-pomorskim na terenie Gminy Lubicz (powiat toruński). Projekt kwalifikuje się do wsparcia w ramach Osi priorytetowej 3 Efektywność energetyczna i gospodarka niskoemisyjna w regionie, Działania 3.4 Zrównoważona mobilność miejska i promowanie strategii niskoemisyjnych, Schemat: budowa i przebudowa ścieżek rowerowych, Schemat 1: Budowa i przebudowa ścieżek rowerowych powyżej 5 km przy drogach wojewódzkich. Celem projektu jest ograniczanie emisji zanieczyszczeń do powietrza poprzez rozwój transportu niskoemisyjnego. Konieczność budowy dróg rowerowych wynika z planów gospodarki niskoemisyjnej gmin, przez które przebiegać będzie planowana droga rowerowa. W związku z ciągle rosnącą liczbą aut, a co za tym idzie rosnącym zanieczyszczeniem powietrza, budowa dróg rowerowych wpłynie na ograniczanie korzystania z indywidualnych środków transportu samochodowego. Realizacja projektu przyczyni się do rozwoju ruchu rowerowego na obszarze ZIT BTOF. (Polish)
