Przedmiotem projektu jest modernizacja oświetlenia na terenie Gminy Ryńsk. Beneficjentem projektu omawianego w niniejszym Wniosku jest Gmina Ryńsk. Warto zaznaczyć, że ze względu na charakter inwestycji, do ostatecznych beneficjentów należy zaliczyć mieszkańców obszaru objętego projektem, gdyż to oni najbardziej zyskają na realizacji inwestycji objętej niniejszym Wniosku. Głównym problemem zidentyfikowanym jest przede wszystkim mało efektywne wykorzystywanie energii, co powoduje wysokie koszty eksploatacyjne oraz emisję substancji szkodliwych dla środowiska.Głównym celem realizacji projektu jest ograniczenie strat energii elektrycznej i redukcja emisji gazów cieplarnianych.
