MapGES will employ different methods ranging from desktop studies to build upon past scientific results, to collection of new imagery data using state-of-the-art technologies, to method to measure Good Environmental Status, to state-of-the-art species distribution models coupled with analysis of North Atlantic circulation to predict changes in biodiversity, and new methods to identify key locations with conservation or blue growth potential.
