The project concerns the treatment and disposal of waste water from the Municipal Unit of Amfissa, the Biotechnical Park (BIOPA) Amfissa and the prisons of Malandrino of the Municipality of Delphi. It is an existing project, but it needs to be upgraded and modernised. The Wastewater Treatment Plant (ESI) will include the following individual processes:(a) Reception of sewage disposal for agglomerations not served by a sewer network (new project): Sewage reception, grate and pumping system.(b) Pre-treatment of sewage and sewage (new project): Grating, emulsion, degreasing. c) Balancing of incoming sewage (new project).d) Secondary biological treatment: Activated sludge system with nitrogen removal (existing and new work). Το έργο αφορά στην επεξεργασία και διάθεση των λυμάτων της Δημοτικής Ενότητας ’μφισσας, του Βιοτεχνικού Πάρκου (ΒΙΟΠΑ) ’μφισσας και των φυλακών Μαλανδρίνου του Δήμου Δελφών. Πρόκειται για υφιστάμενο έργο, στο οποίο ωστόσο απαιτείται η αναβάθμιση και ο εκσυγχρονισμός του. Η Εγκατάσταση Επεξεργασίας Λυμάτων (ΕΕΛ) θα περιλαμβάνει τις κάτωθι επιμέρους διεργασίες:α) Υποδοχή βοθρολυμάτων για τους οικισμούς που δεν εξυπηρετούνται από αποχετευτικό δίκτυο (νέο έργο): Σύστημα υποδοχής βοθρολυμάτων, εσχάρωση και αντλιοστάσιο ανύψωσης.β) Προεπεξεργασία λυμάτων και βοθρολυμάτων (νέο έργο): Εσχάρωση, εξάμμωση, απολίπανση.γ) Εξισορρόπηση εισερχόμενων λυμάτων (νέο έργο).δ) Δευτεροβάθμια βιολογική επεξεργασία: Σύστημα ενεργού ιλύος με απομάκρυνση αζώτου (υφιστάμενο και νέο έργο).ε) Τριτοβάθμια επεξεργασία: Κροκίδωση, διαύγαση, Χλωρίωση τελικής εκροής (υφιστάμενο και νέο έργο).στ) Μονάδα μεταερισμού επεξεργασμένων λυμάτων (νέο έργο).ζ) Διάθεση επεξεργασμένων λυμάτων προς ρέμα «Σκιτσά» (νέο έργο).θ) Επεξεργασία ιλύος : Δεξαμενή πάχυνσης, Μονάδα αφυδάτωσης, Χώρος προσωρινής αποθήκευσης αφυδατωμένης ιλύος (υφιστάμενο και νέο έργο).Η επιλογή των επιμέρους συστημάτων επεξεργασίας έγινε με γνώμονα αφενός την εξασφάλιση υψηλής ποιότητας εκροής και αφετέρου την ελαχιστοποίηση των οχλήσεων.
