The project aims to ensure the accessibility of people with motor disabilities or with limited mobility on the beaches of the island of Psara. In particular, the planning and construction of facilities on four beaches of the island, for the convenience, entertainment and sports of disabled people, people with motor disabilities or limited mobility (aged, pregnant women, visually impaired, etc.), contributing to the removal of their marginalisation from society as a whole. The ultimate goal of the project is a) to develop tourism for people with disabilities and to attract tourists of this social group and b) to serve the inhabitants of the island. The right of people with disabilities to access is exhausted not only to the possibility of moving around the city without hindrance or to the use of public buildings by providing a number of facilities. People with disabilities have every right to use facilities related to entertainment, sport, tourism and recreation, which are offered to all of us without hindrance and without any limitations whatsoever. An important area from which disabled people are excluded is the sea and the sea baths, which usually have beneficial effects on health and improvement of living conditions. Το έργο έχει ως αντικείμενο την εξασφάλιση της προσβασιμότητας ανθρώπων με κινητικές αναπηρίες ή με περιορισμένη κινητικότητα στις παραλίες της νήσου των Ψαρών. Ειδικότερα, προβλέπεται ο σχεδιασμός και η κατασκευή εγκαταστάσεων σε τέσσερις παραλίες του νησιού, για την εξυπηρέτηση, την ψυχαγωγία και την άθληση των ΑΜΕΑ, ατόμων με κινητικές αναπηρίες ή περιορισμένης κινητικότητας (ηλικιωμένοι, εγκυμονούσες γυναίκες, άτομα με μειωμένη όραση, κ.λπ.), συνεισφέροντας στην άρση της περιθωριοποίησής τους από το κοινωνικό σύνολο. Απωτερο στόχο του έργου αποτελεί α) η ανάπτυξη του τουρισμού των ατόμων με αναπηρία και η προσέλκυση τουριστών αυτής της κοινωνικής ομάδας και β) η εξυπηρέτηση των κατοίκων του νησιού. Το δικαίωμα των ατόμων με αναπηρίες στην πρόσβαση, δεν εξαντλείται μόνο στη δυνατότητα να κυκλοφορούν ανεμπόδιστα μέσα στην πόλη ούτε στη χρήση των δημόσιων κτιρίων με την παροχή μιας σειράς διευκολύνσεων. Τα άτομα με αναπηρία έχουν κάθε δικαίωμα και στη χρήση των εγκαταστάσεων, που σχετίζονται με την ψυχαγωγία, τον αθλητισμό, τον τουρισμό και γενικότερα με την αναψυχή, τα οποία προσφέρονται σε όλους μας ανεμπόδιστα και χωρίς κανέναν απολύτως περιορισμό. Ένας σημαντικός χώρος από τον οποίο αποκλείονται τα ΑμεΑ είναι η θάλασσα και τα θαλάσσια λουτρά, τα οποία συνήθως έχουν ευεργετικές επιδράσεις στην υγεία και στην βελτίωση των συνθηκών διαβίωσής τους. Η ύπαρξη θεσμικού πλαισίου για την προσβασιμότητα καλύπτει συνήθως τα κτήρια αλλά δεν επεκτείνεται σε χώρους όπως η παραλία, η θάλασσα και το βουνό. (Greek)
