Αντικείμενο του έργου είναι η δημιουργία Κέντρου Κοινότητας στον Δήμο Νέστου, το οποίο θα εξυπηρετεί όλους τους κατοίκους του Δήμου, με προτεραιότητα στις ευπαθείς ομάδες και με στόχο τη διάχυση της πληροφορίας αναφορικά με παροχές κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα και υπηρεσίες κοινωνικής ένταξης προς όλους τους πολίτες. Το Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα λειτουργεί συμπληρωματικά και δεν αντικαθιστά ή υποκαθιστά τις Κοινωνικές Υπηρεσίες του Δήμου, αλλά θα διευρύνει το φάσμα των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα προς τους δημότες-ωφελούμενους. Προς τον σκοπό αυτόν, θα γίνεται υποδοχή και καταγραφή των ωφελουμένων, με στόχο τη διάγνωση των αναγκών τους και την προώθηση τους σε Υπηρεσίες, Δομές και Προγράμματα που υφίστανται την τρέχουσα χρονική στιγμή και έχουν ως αντικείμενο την κοινωνική υποστήριξη ενδυνάμωση και ένταξή τους (Οργανισμός Απασχόλησης Εργατικού Δυναμικού - ΟΑΕΔ, Εθνικό Σύστημα Υγείας - ΕΣΥ, Κέντρα Δημιουργικής Απασχόλησης παιδιών - ΚΔΑΠ, Πρόγραμμα 'Βοήθεια στο Σπίτι', Κέντρα Ψυχικής Υγείας κλπ). Συγχρόνως στο Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα γίνεται υποδοχή των αιτήσεων για το Ταμείο Ευρωπαϊκής Βοήθειας για τους Απόρους (ΤΕΒΑ), το Ελάχιστο Εγγυημένο Εισόδημα (ΕΕΕ), προγράμματα ανθρωπιστικής βοήθειας κλπ. The aim of the project is the creation of a Community Centre in the Municipality of Nestos, which will serve all residents of the Municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups and aiming to disseminate information about social benefits and social inclusion services to all citizens. The Community Centre will be complementary and will not replace or replace the Social Services of the Municipality, but will broaden the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. To this end, the beneficiaries will be received and recorded, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programs that exist at the current time and have as their object the social support empowerment and integration (Employment Organisation for Labour Resources – OAED, National Health System – NHS, Centres for Creative Employment for Children – KDAP, Program ‘Houses Help’, Mental Health Centres etc). At the same time, the Community Centre will receive applications for the European Aid Fund for the Most Deprived (TEVA), the Minimum Guaranteed Income (Minimum Income), humanitarian aid programmes, etc. (English)
