    Πρόκειται να γίνει η προμήθεια και εγκατάσταση των προαναφερθέντων συστημάτων, προκειμένου να επιτευχθεί μείωση της κατανάλωσης πρωτογενούςενέργειας στο κτιριακό συγκρότημα, κατά τρόπο ώστε να αναβαθμιστεί σε ενεργειακή κλάση Α++. Η ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση των κτιριακών υποδομών, που θα οδηγήσει σε μείωση του κόστους λειτουργίας και της ατμοσφαιρικής ρύπανσης, αλλά και σε βελτίωση των εσωτερικών συνθηκών άνεσης για τους εργαζομένους και επισκέπτες του κτιρίου. Τέλος, λόγω του εμβληματικού χαρακτήρα του κτιρίου και της ιδιάζουσας χρήσης του, η ενεργειακή του αναβάθμιση δίνει τη δυνατότητα ευαισθητοποίησης ευρύτερων τμημάτων του πληθυσμού και βελτίωσης της ενεργειακής τους συμπεριφοράς.
