Βελτιώνεται η οδική ασφάλεια τμήματος της Ε.Ο.6 Βόλος Α.Κ. Βελεστίνου από τη Χ.Θ. 0+489 (στο ύψος των στρατιωτικών εγκαταστάσεων ΠΕΒ) έως Χ.Θ. 3+489 (στο ύψος των βιομηχανικών εγκαταστάσεων της Θεσσαλικής Χαλυβουργίας), μήκους περίπου 3,0km. Συγκεκριμένα γίνεται ανακατασκευή του υπόψη τμήματος για την εξάλειψη των φθορών (υβώματα, κυματώσεις) που παρατηρούνται στο οδόστρωμα. Επίσης βελτιώνεται και αναβαθμίζεται η ασφάλεια της οδού, με τη χρήση Συστημάτων Αναχαίτισης Οχημάτων (Σ.Α.Ο.) αλλά και Φωτιστικών Σωμάτων τύπου Φωτεινών Διόδων Φωτοεκπομπής (LED), μικρότερης ενεργειακής κατανάλωσης και υψηλότερης χρωματικής απόδοσης («Λευκό Φως»). Velestinou is improved from C.T. 0+ 489 (at the height of the military facilities of PEV) to C.O.T. 3+ 489 (at the level of the industrial facilities of Thessaly Chalyvourgia), approximately 3,0 km long. In particular, a reconstruction of the relevant part to eliminate the damage (hybomas, ripples) observed on the road surface is carried out. The safety of the road is also improved and upgraded, with the use of Vehicle Intervention Systems (SAO) as well as Lighting Body Lighting Diodes (LEDs), less energy consumption and higher colour performance (“White Light”).
