Το έργο φορά στην κατασκευή νέας Εγκατάστασης Επεξεργασίας Λυμάτων (ΕΕΛ) στην Δημοτική Ενότητα Νευροκοπίου του Δήμου Κάτω Νευροκοπίου, προβλεπόμενης δυναμικότητας 3.000 κατοίκων.Με τα προβλεπόμενα έργα θα εξασφαλιστεί η ολοκληρωμένη διαχείριση αστικών λυμάτων, καθώς και η περιβαλλοντική προστασία και προστασία της δημόσιας υγείας από την ανεξέλεγκτη διάθεσή τους, με την συλλογή και μεταφορά λυμάτων από τον οικισμο του Κάτω Νευροκοπίου στη νέα ΕΕΛ.
