The Pampeloponnesian Stadium of Patras is the most important sports complex of Southwest Greece and is located in the Koukouli area of Patras. It was built in 1981 and renovated for the needs of the Olympic Games in 2004. It includes a 23,588-seat football stadium, as well as a host of closed gyms and coaches for various uses (basketball, volleyball, handball, weightlifting, shooting, etc.). In 2008 it was granted to the Municipality of Patras, which since then has been the exclusive body of its management and operation in order to support local and student sport in the wider area.This project aims to upgrade the energy efficiency of the building complex of the Stadium in order to reduce its operating costs and ensure its further sustainability and social benefit. In particular, the central air-conditioning system will be upgraded with new central air-water heat pump units, which will replace the old system and the oil boiler, install a solar system for hot water production, install a central management system and replace existing luminaires with new low consumption led technology.     Το Παμπελοποννησιακό Στάδιο Πατρών αποτελεί το σημαντικότερο συγκρότημα αθλητικών εγκαταστάσεων της Νοτιοδυτικής Ελλάδας και βρίσκεται στην περιοχή Κουκούλι της Πάτρας. Κατασκευάστηκε το 1981 και ανακαινίσθηκε για τις ανάγκες των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων το 2004. Περιλαμβάνει γήπεδο ποδοσφαίρου χωρητικότητας 23.588 θέσεων, καθώς και πλήθος κλειστών γυμναστήριων και προπονητηρίων για ποικίλες χρήσεις (μπάσκετ, βόλλεϋ, χάντμπολ, άρση βαρών, σκοποβολή κλπ.). Το 2008 παραχωρήθηκε στον Δήμο Πατρέων, ο οποίος έκτοτε είναι ο αποκλειστικός φορέας διαχείρισης και λειτουργίας του με σκοπό την υποστήριξη του τοπικού και μαθητικού αθλητισμού στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.Το παρόν έργο στοχεύει στην αναβάθμιση της ενεργειακής απόδοσης του κτιριακού συγκροτήματος του Σταδίου προκειμένου να μειωθεί το λειτουργικό του κόστος και να εξασφαλισθεί η περαιτέρω βιωσιμότητά του και το κοινωνικό του όφελος. Συγκεκριμένα, θα αναβαθμισθεί το κεντρικό σύστημα κλιματισμού με νέες κεντρικές μονάδες αντλιών θερμότητας αέρα-νερού, οι οποίες θα αντικαταστήσουν το παλαιό σύστημα και το λέβητα πετρελαίου, θα τοποθετηθεί ηλιακό σύστημα παραγωγής ζεστού νερού χρήσης, θα εγκατασταθεί κεντρικό σύστημα διαχείρισης και τέλος θα αντικατασταθούν τα υφιστάμενα φωτιστικά σώματα με νέα χαμηλής κατανάλωσης, τεχνολογίας led.
