Με την υλοποίηση του παρόντος έργου θα προκύψει ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση του κλειστού γυμναστηρίου Αμφιλοχίας κατά τρεις βαθμίδες, με προβλεπόμενη συνολική εξοικονόμηση πρωτογενούς ενέργειας 738,7 Kwh/m2.Οι παρεμβάσεις που θα υλοποιηθούν αφορούν σε μόνωση της εξωτερικής τοιχοποιίας και της οροφής του κύριου κτηρίου και του κτηρίου λεβητοστασίου και αποδυτηρίων, αντικατάσταση παλαιών κουφωμάτων με νέα, κατάργηση παλαιού συστήματος θέρμανσης με λέβητα και εγκατάστασή του από αντλία θερμότητας, εγκατάσταση ηλιακών συλλεκτών για κάλυψη την κάλυχη των αναγκών ζεστού νερού χρήσης και εγκατάσταση νέου συστήματος φωτισμού με led υψηλής ενεργειακής απόδοσης σε όλους του χώρους.
