It is a project of significant energy upgrading of the Hospital of Agrinio which includes sub-projects for the upgrading of heating/cooling/air conditioning/lighting and hot water production facilities, as well as the exterior frames of the main building. This operation achieves an oil saving of up to 71 % and electricity by 6.5 % and a reduction in CO2 emissions by 17 %. The quality and reliability of heating/cooling/air conditioning systems is also radically upgraded. This project will also put into operation the heat recovery departments of the Central Air Conditioning Units (CPCs) which are currently inoperative. The overall energy classification of the Hospital will reach a category B+, according to which the Central Building of the Hospital will now be ranked among the buildings of Nearly Zero Consumption.Energy (KSME) and may be the first in Greece and one of the first in Europe to achieve this ranking. Πρόκειται για ένα έργο σημαντικής ενεργειακής αναβαθμίσεως του Νοσοκομείου Αγρινίου το οποίο περιλαμβάνει υποέργα για την την αναβάθμιση των εγκαταστάσεων θέρμανσης/ψύξης/κλιματισμού/φωτισμού και παραγωγής ζεστού νερού χρήσεως.καθώς και των εξωτερικών κουφωμάτων του κεντρικού κτιρίου. Με την πράξη αυτή επιτυγχάνεται μία εξοικονόμηση πετρελαίου έως 71% και ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας κατά 6,5% καθώς και μείωση των εκπομπών CO2 κατά 17%. Επίσης αναβαθμίζεται ριζικά η ποιότητα και η αξιοπιστία των συστημάτων θέρμανσης/ψυξης/κλιματισμού. Με το έργο αυτό θα τεθούν σε λειτουργία επίσης τα τμήματα ανακτήσεως θερμότητας των Κεντρικών Κλιματιστικών Μονάδων (ΚΚΜ) τα οποία σήμερα είναι εκτός λειτουργίας. Η συνολική ενεργειακή κατάταξη του Νοσοκομείου θα φθάσει σε κατηγορία Β+, βάσει της οποίας το Κεντρικό κτίριο του Νοσοκομείου θα κατατάσσεται πλέον μεταξύ των Κτιρίων Σχεδόν Μηδενικής Καταναλώσεως .Ενέργειας (ΚΣΜΚΕ) καί ίσως είναι το πρώτο πανελληνίως καί από τα πρώτα στην Ευρώπη που επιτυγχάνει αυτήν την κατάταξη.
