Σκοπός του έργου είναι η βελτίωση και αναβάθμιση της λειτουργίας του εξωτερικού υδραγωγείου από την πηγή «Παράθυρο» μέχρι την κεντρική δεξαμενή του συστήματος ύδρευσης δέκα οικισμών του Δήμου Γορτυνίας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, περιλαμβάνονται εργασίες: α) συντήρησης και αναβάθμισης του οικοδομικού μέρους του Κεντρικού Αντλιοστασίου, β) αντικατάστασης 500 μ. τμήματος του καταθλιπτικού αγωγού από το Κεντρικό Αντλιοστάσιο μέχρι το Ενδιάμεσο Αντλιοστάσιο, γ) συντήρησης και αναβάθμισης του οικοδομικού μέρους του Ενδιάμεσου Αντλιοστασίου, δ) αντικατάστασης 75 μ. τμήματος του καταθλιπτικού αγωγού από το Ενδιάμεσο Αντλιοστάσιο μέχρι την Κεντρική Δεξαμενή Συστήματος Τροπαίων.
