Zgrada Opće županijska bolnice Pakrac i bolnice hrvatskih veterana izgrađena je 1980. god, a nakon velikih oštećenja u Domovinskom ratu sanirana je 1996. god. Način gradnje nije odgovarao suvremenim standardima uštede i racionalnog trošenja energije, stoga se pristupilo pripremi projekta energetske obnove kojim su predviđene građevinske, strojarske i elektrotehehničke mjere kojima će se obnoviti ovojnica zgrade, zamijenit će se postojeća vanjska stolarija, poboljšat će se postojeći sustav grijanja te će se unutrašnja rasvjeta zamijeniti energetski učinkovitijom. Korisna energija za grijanje smanjit će se za 779.715,23 kWh/a (74,03%), a godišnja emisija CO2 za 188.004,17 kg (67,00%). Zgrada će iz energetskog razreda D prijeći u razred B. (Croatian)

The premises of the General County Hospital and the Croatian veterans were built in 1980, and after major damage to the War of Independence, in 1996 the construction method did not respond to modern standards for energy savings and energy wear, therefore the preparation of an energy renovation project providing for building, engineering and electrotechnical measures that will restore the building’s envelope will be replaced, the existing external joinery will be replaced, the existing heating system will be improved and the internal heating system will be replaced by more energy efficient. The useful heat for heating will be reduced by 779 715.23 kWh/a (74.03 %) and the annual CO2 emission for 188 004.17 kg (67.00 %). The building will be transferred from the energy class D to Class B.
