Projekt odpowiada na zdiagnozowane potrzeby mieszkańców (pacjentów) i personelu medycznego i zakłada informatyzację w 3 podmiotach leczniczych subregionu słupskiego działających w partnerstwie. Projekcję niezbędnych nakładów inwestycyjnych poprzedziło wykonanie Raportu z audytu infrastrukturalnego u Partnerów, określając precyzyjnie stan obecny i możliwość wykorzystania w projekcie istniejących zasobów. Celem przedsięwzięcia zwiększenie dostępności do usług zdrowotnych,podniesienie jakości usług świadczonych oraz zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa i zadowolenia pacjenta poprzez wdrożenie systemu EDM i innych systemów medycznych wraz z niezbędną infrastrukturą, zakup niezbędnych systemów informatycznych i sprzętu informatycznego. Zakres przedmiotowy projektu obejmuje również pozyskanie dostępu do sieci szerokopasmowej W ramach przedsięwzięcia wdrożony zostanie system informatyczny interoperacyjny z regionalnym systemem w ramach projektu Pomorskie e-zdrowie oraz z krajową platformą P1, P2 i P4.
